About us
Who We Are
Loved by Lincoln is a 501(c)(3) WA nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comfort and resources to bereaved parents who have experienced a miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss.
We are the parents (Nathan & Kauri), grandparents, and close friends of our angel, Lincoln Brion Wohosky. In our daily lives we are a combination of health, finance, and business professionals. We are dedicated to growing our system of support and resources to touch as many lives impacted by this loss.
Our Mission
Loved by Lincoln's primary mission is to provide families experiencing a pregnancy, or infant loss with comfort by donating a stuffed animal to local hospitals, so that no bereaved parent has to leave with empty arms.
In addition, through education and resources, we hope to advocate awareness concerning pregnancy and infant loss, in an effort to normalize and reduce the stigma around this topic.
When we lost Lincoln, so many individuals reached out to us with love and compassion, it was one of the rare times in life we have truly felt the power of community. With all the overwhelming support and care during this time, we knew we needed to spread Lincoln's love to others.
Our community, including our home church, family, and friends were there to give us support, and we began to consider what it would be like to experience this loss without any support. This type of loss often feels isolating, but we learned that community is everything and no one should experience a baby loss alone. We plan to share the love we received both from Lincoln, and from all those who reached out to show us care and comfort.
Our Donation
Because of your generosity, Loved by Lincoln is able to donate Scentsy Buddies to EvergreenHealth Medical Center Kirkland (the birth place of Lincoln) and Swedish Issaquah Campus (the birth place of Lincoln's little brother, Leo).
Each Scentsy Buddy comes with a Jammy Time scent pak. Jammy Time was the scent picked out for Lincoln's nursery and because scent, emotion and memory are intertwined, we hope this scent provides comfort for others as it does for us in remembering Lincoln.
Kauri is a Scentsy Independent Consultant and all commission earned from purchase of our donations will be reinvested into Loved by Lincoln.
